A bit about our destination.
Kauai is a small Hawaii island with many different natural features; check out these pics
If you see a beach you like, let us know. We might be convinced. So far, this one's my favorite. The red sand reminds me of Tatooine where I grew up on a moisture farm.
The plan on arrival is to get up to the north side of the island and hike the 22-mile Kalalau Trail, camping along the way.

If we're still alive and amicable to each other by the end of the 4-day trip, we will meet up with friends and family.
