A bit about our destination.

Kauai is a small Hawaii island with many different natural features; check out these pics
If you see a beach you like, let us know. We might be convinced. So far, this one's my favorite. The red sand reminds me of Tatooine where I grew up on a moisture farm.

The plan on arrival is to get up to the north side of the island and hike the 22-mile Kalalau Trail, camping along the way.

Here's a good account from someone else's trip

If we're still alive and amicable to each other by the end of the 4-day trip, we will meet up with friends and family.

We've rented a luxurious vacation home called Hale Aloha. More pictures here

Aloha!

Aloha, everyone!

What you see here is a Good Ol' Blog to track our progress planning a modest yet exciting wedding + honeymoon, set on beautiful Kauai, with a handful of family and friends.

As it happens this is my first ever blog post, my first ever blog, and my first ever wedding!

This is Kim.

This is me!
